How are you doing? I'm good! Wow, it's almost the end of the month! Today is a special day. Today is the day that my book will be going to the typesetter. So I've got to make any final changes today, before handing over! 🤩🤩🤩🤩 And today I've also launched a new Newsletter and I have been so surprised about how many people what to hear my thoughts on AI and visible leadership, there are 307 subscribers! Wow, that's just incredible!

The search for venue for my Book launch goes on, however, I know that the venue that is secured will be brilliant. So I can't wait to announce the venue of book launch. Expect there to be insights on paid speaking, joy, music and some surprises. If you're based outside of the UK would you like to be involved in the book launch event? Yesterday I was gripped by watching an interview with Bozoma Saint John. My mantra is "Be Your No.1 Cheerleader". She trail blazes in this area and such a force, you either feel you love her, hate her, or perhaps you may be envious of her confidence. What I am learning is that to achieve results you've never had, you've to do things differently. You have to feel the fear and do it anyway!

And now to the title of the email: Do you like standing under your own spotlight?

I feel like, I should quote Jennifer Hudson, and her song Spotlight. ​

Now the song is about a possessive and bad boyfriend. Now surprises about what I'm going to say next!

Sometimes we treat ourselves like a "bad boyfriend" or "girl friend". We live under our own "negative spotlight".

Yes, that's deep! But then it's true. We as humans have an inbuilt negativity bias. To protect us. Sometimes we can take it too far and let become "our mindset", our "beliefs" and "who we think we are".

Now, thankfully we don't have to live like that. Under the "negative spotlight". But first we have got to be honest with ourselves.

"What have been giving light to under negative spotlight that we need to stop"?

Examples would be:

Not fact checking your own beliefs

Not asking questions about our feelings- Because feelings aren't Facts

Just believing that you can't do something without even trying

Not starting something because of your judgement on starting sooner

And the list could go on.

So if we were to give you a new sound track it would be this one from Burna Boy, "Born Winner".​

Today, I'm reflecting self love, self validation, self empowerment. You are what you think! What are you thinking? The validation you are seeking comes from You. Yes, I know it's deep. No-one can give it you. You have to create it. You can borrow belief to start with. But then you need to create in order to become it. ❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰

💡 3 Reasons to Self Validate

1️⃣ You have the opportunity to decide You are a Big Deal! Because You are!

2️⃣ You have the opportunity to see you as other see you, the change maker, the expert, the coach, the mentor insert your own .

3️⃣ You have the opportunity to step into your greatness. Your unique imprint on this earth is something only you can design. Design it with intention.
