And that’s something we talked about at in Paid Speaker Connections last night.

When I stood on the Visible Leadership stage to give my talk…
I wasn’t at my most polished.
I wasn’t at my most prepared.

I was tired.
I couldn’t remember the script.
All I could do was be present.

Lean into the moment. 💯

Speak from the heart. ❤️

Say something I thought my audience family, friends, and my Paid Speaker Community needed to hear.

What I could remember was my own personal story.
And some key pieces of the talk.

It wasn’t the talk I had planned.
But it was the talk I was meant to give. 💯

I just let go and gave what I hoped would be of most service.

That moment that breakdown actually led to the growth I’d been seeking as a speaker.
​Growth in how I tell stories.​
​Growth in trusting myself.

And the most beautiful part? Yesterday I showed the talk to our Paid Speaker Community.
